Aries are brave, independent and confident toname just a few of their many qualities. They’re born between March 21st and April 19. They’re a fire sign ruled by mars, the ancient god of war. They’re crystal match is bloodstone. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, symbolizing new beginnings, it’s known as the leader of the zodiacs and those born under it are bold and fearless. In Greek mythology, the god of war was known as Ares. But the origins of the ram figure exist back even further to ancient Egyptian astronomy. Aries was associated with the god Amon-Ra, who was depicted as a man with a ram’s head. Amon-Ra represented fertility and creativity. When Aries was most prominent, priests would process statues of Amon-Ra to temples.
